On this tour we will start our drive through the south east part of the Island visiting some of the resorts, beaches and residential areas in the neighborhood such as “Caracasbay”, “Janthiel” and the Spanish Waters, with a brief stop at the Caribbean handcraft souvenir shop. Our next stop will be the Curaçao liqueur distillery, house of the traditional Blue Curaçao made since 1896 (closed on weekends).
Then we’ll drive through the 1634 built Capital Willemstad where you’ll see “Punda”, “Scharloo”(the former Jewish residential area) and “Otrobanda” with their amazing historical buildings made from coral stones and sea sand, named monuments of the world by UNESCO since 1997, there we will also stop at the huge Queen Juliana Bridge where you can take a unique panoramic picture of our City. The tour will continue to the south west part of the island with several stops including: the Hato Caves (optional NO entrance fee included) where you’ll take a 35 min walking tour into this amazing time back journey. We will drive through the Flamingo’s natural reservoir, stop at the colonial country house “Jankok” art gallery of the local artist “Nena Sanchez” and before finishing we will take you to the beautiful “Cas Abou” beach where you can enjoy a lunch (not included) and/or a refreshing nap in this amazing crystal clear water beach.
